Mental Health Family Liaison

The Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC) is hosting a Community Blood Drive at the Thayer Homestead on Monday, October 28, from 1:00 - 7:00 pm. The RIBC has been collecting blood in Massachusetts for many years, and most of our collected blood ends up in Southern New England (Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island). Additionally, their lab in Providence does most of the hematology testing for all of the Massachusetts hospitals, including those in Boston. One pint of blood can save up to 3 lives, so 20 donors will save up to 60.
